I fell in love with nursing as a teenager working as a nurse aide in a nursing home. One of the advantages of nursing is that we can work in so many different settings. I have been privileged to work with patients and their families in nursing homes, several hospitals including Children’s Hospital, out-patient cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, as a school nurse, and now as a nursing instructor. It is wonderful to be able to bring 35 years of experiences to share with students. It is incredibly rewarding to see students grow into nurses!

My husband and I are both from northeast Colorado and raised four children here. We enjoying traveling and visiting our grandchildren.
