New Student Move in Day is Thursday August 15th, 9:00am-4:00pm
Check in at the white tent located in front of your assigned residence hall.
Community Club Fair- Thursday August 15th , 4:00-6:00 PM
• Located in the Bank of Colorado Event Center
• Local businesses will be in attendance to welcome families and give drawing prizes to students
• Dinner will be available for students and their families
We ask that all new first-year students and transfer students who will live on or off campus in the Fall of 2024, join us on Friday, August 16th at 8:45 a.m. Orientation is something you won't want to miss!

9:50-11:50 a.m. - Informational Sessions (ES French rooms 123, 218, 125, 122, 124)
11:50 a.m. - Lunch- Chuckwagon Cafe
1:00 p.m. - Academic Advising- By Department
Math/Science- Whyman Hall, Room 111
Fire/EMS- Knowles Hall, Room 312
Liberal Arts- ES French Theater
Nursing- Whyman Hall, Room 217

4:15 p.m. - New Student Athlete Meeting: *Mandatory for all athletes- Bank of Colorado Event Center Main Gym
If you are a non-traditional student please plan to attend a drop-in orientation on Thursday, August 15th between the hours of 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., or 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. in the Student Success Center located in the Hays Student Center. Orientation will introduce you to services on campus with their location and point of contact, and ensure that you are technologically prepared to begin classes on Monday, August 19th.

Friday the16th - Light the way to a Good Year (campfire) at 9pm, Location TBD
Saturday the 17th - Glow in the Dark Volleyball 9pm, Herbie Lawn
Sunday the 18th - Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive and Doge your way into Dodgeball 7pm, Event Center Aux. Gym
Monday the 19th - The Poole Party (Yard Games) 7pm, Poole grass lot
Tuesday the 20th - Oh No! Step Bro (Movie Night) 9pm, ES French Theater
Wednesday the 21st - Backyard BBQ at 7pm, behind Blue Spruce
Thursday the 22nd - Photobooth 11am-1pm, Cafeteria
Thursday the 22nd - 2 Dollar Movie Night, Fox 5 Theater
Below you’ll find some helpful tips for move-in:
- You MUST HAVE your Payment Plan set up, your Student I.D. Picture taken, and be enrolled in 12+ Credits BEFORE you are able to move in
- To take care of your bill, login to your NJC Access account, click on “Financial Aid and Payments”
- To take your picture for your photo I.D. please visit the Housing Office in Hays Student Center 113
- If you are not in 12+ credits, please contact NJCStudentSuccessCenter@njc.edu
