The Advanced Ag Business Management Certificate focuses on in-depth financial analysis of the business and measuring the past and present performance of the agriculture operation. Potential products to be completed in this certificate program include, but are not limited to, an expanded trend analysis, pro-forma statements, alternative enterprise budgets, revised components of the business plan, risk management plan, and a critical issues list.

Program Learning Outcomes:

  • Prepare financial documents, including but not limited to; a statement of owner’s equity, statement of cash flow and Pro-forma financial statements.
  • Complete an expanded trend analysis.
  • Create and implement a risk management plan.
  • Maintain and refine their computerized record-keeping system.
