Bren Dee Rogers Ranch Horse Scholarship

This scholarship was created in 2024 by Bren Dee Rogers to support a student athlete on the Ranch Horse team at NJC.

Rogers grew up in the Peetz area and attended NJC during 1985-1987. She graduated with an Associate Degree in Business and then proceeded to attend Colorado State University to earn her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She then later received her Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies from the Army War College in 2017.

After moving to Fort Collins to attend CSU, Bren Dee enlisted in the Colorado Army National Guard in February 1987. Throughout the next 30 years, Rogers has held a variety of roles in leadership and staff throughout the Colorado Army National Guard. During her military career, she has served in several operational missions. In February 2022, Bren Dee was promoted to brigadier general.

Bren Dee moved back to the area in 2008. She loves being back in this great community again and loves living on the ranch. She is a fifth-generation Coloradan and fondly recalls her childhood here "Had I grown up in a big city, I don’t think I would have had near as many opportunities as I had growing up here. I feel very fortunate."
