Collegiate Farm Bureau

The Collegiate Farm Bureau is the first step into a long career of civic participation in  Farm Bureau.

  • Leadership and professional development classes

  • Participation in state and national Collegiate Discussion Meet Competitions
  • CFB State Young Farmers and Ranchers Leadership Conference
  • Agriculture/farm/agribusiness tours
  • Interaction with state legislators and other influencers
  • Social functions
  • And much more

Northeastern Collegiate Farm Bureau is a part of AFBF which is the unified national Voice of Agriculture, working through our grassroots organizations to enhance and strengthen the lives of rural Americans and to build strong, prosperous agricultural communities.

What I love about Northeastern is definitely the community feeling and the feeling of comfort! It is such a small college, so everyone knows everyone! It is like a huge family.

As a student, I have loved how much the teachers care about you. They want you to succeed in whatever you want to do and are always willing to help. It makes it much easier to cope with change and classes that aren't your strong suit.

I come from a small community so it was a smooth transition from high school to Northeastern.
