Prospective Students

If you're planning to attend NJC on a F-1 student visa, please complete these steps to admission.

Apply for admission by completing the general student application. Please choose "F1 visa" under citizenship type when you reach that area of the application.

Application deadlines if you're out of the country

Fall semester: July 5
Spring semester: December 15

Additional Requirement: Information Form

Fill out the International Student Information Form. You'll need to upload the following documents:

  • Copy of passport
  • Bank statements (see Step 3)
  • English test scores (see Step 4)

Information Form

Required Document: Financial Statement

Submit the International Student Financial Statement. This document, along with required paperwork documentation (bank statements, affidavits of support, sponsorship letters, etc.) verifies your ability to cover the cost of your academic program and cost of living while attending NJC.

You'll need to upload one or all of the following documents to the Student Information Form (Step 2):

  • bank statements
  • affidavits of support
  • sponsorship letters

Required Document: English Test Scores

If your native language is other than English, you must provide one of the following:

 

Once the steps above have been completed and received, Northeastern will send an acceptance email and letter and provide the next steps for your visa application. More information can be found on our Admitted Students page.

Blue Spruce Hall

 

We are the largest two-year residential campus in Colorado. Offering six residence halls that house over 575 students, all within walking distance of classes. Each hall offers free laundry facilities, free WiFi and cable, free parking, shared community spaces for studying and hanging out with friends, and an abundance of student activities.

Programs of Study

 

With small class sizes taught by dedicated, full-time professors, you're sure to receive a quality education that will have you learning both inside and outside the classroom. We offer over 80 programs of study that will gain you an associate degree and set you up to jump straight into the workforce or prepare you to transfer to the university of your choice.
