Why did you choose Northeastern?

I love the size of NJC's campus and classes. Between the one-on-one time most teachers offer and free tutoring in the MLC, help is always available to those who seek it.

What do you like about your area of study?

I find chemistry absolutely fascinating. It is a different subject but it is very important and pertains to literally everything else as atoms make up everything in our universe. Organic-chem in particular is like one big puzzle that is very satisfying to solve. Also the science program at NJC is filled with exemplary professors who encourage and care about their students greatly.

What do you plan to do after graduation?

I will be continuing my education at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, where I will be studying Biochemistry.

What inspires you?

My mother and the rest of my family. Also Donald Trump because if that man can be the president of the United States, I can be a doctor.

What is your favorite awkward moment at Northeastern?

I saw a very cute girl at the bottom of the stairs in PW, decided I was going to flirt with her, and promptly tripped and fell down the stairs. Worse yet, we maintained eye contact almost the whole way down.

While I was looking at nursing schools, NJC stood out to me because of the amazing nursing staff.
