Why did you choose and/or what do you like about Northeastern? Why?
I decided to attend Northeastern because of the phenomenal Nursing program they have here and because the class sizes were perfect for me. While I was looking at nursing schools, NJC stood out to me because of the amazing nursing staff. I heard many positive aspects about how they really help the students to succeed and that is what I wanted.
What do you like about your area of study? Why?
I love the fact that I know I can help make a difference in people's lives. Being able to take care of someone in need and helping them heal, is the best feeling in the world to me. I also like that the Nursing Program continues to show me what my true potential can be once I graduate and that there are many different areas of nursing that I am able to go into. The program continues to challenge me and reward me with experience and intelligence.
What do you plan to do after graduation?
After graduation, I plan on becoming an ER Nurse, hopefully at a local hospital.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by my teachers and the ER team that I work with at SRMC. All of these people have shown me what it is like to be a nurse an how much of a difference one nurse can make.
What is your favorite memory or awkward moment at Northeastern?
There is not just one favorite memory that I have from attending Northeastern. My classmates and teachers in the nursing program make every day memorable. Because of the, we have built a wonderful class bond and are always there for one another if anyone is struggling. I know I will never forget my classmates or my teachers.
