What is your city/town known for? Is it different from Sterling?

My little town is called Cabrils and it is known for good restaurants.

If we could visit one place in your country, where would it be and why?

It would be Barcelona. You would have to visit Gaudi's buildings like La Sagrada Familia.

Did you always know you wanted to study in the U.S.?

No, I didn't know that I wanted to study here until my senior year in high school. Also, I just wanted to come one year to learn English and finally I decided to stay to finish my studies here.

What were you excited or nervous about before you left?

I was nervous because it was a new place without my family or friends and my English was not really good at that time. But at the same time I was really excited about it and I couldn't wait to arrive here.

Have you had any memorable moments at Northeastern?

When I met my roommate and my teammates. They were really nice and friendly.

What advice would you give another student thinking about studying in the U.S.?

I would say don't be scared and live this experience! They will learn a new language but also they will learn a new culture and this will make them grow.
