GED

Acronym representing General Educational Development. GED is acceptable in all references. Do not use periods.

GPA

GPA is acceptable in all references to grade point average. Do not use periods.

grades

Do not use quotation marks, italics, or boldface when writing assessment grades. For plural of any letter grade, use an “s” and no apostrophe (E.g., three As and two Bs.)

Guenzi-Read-Breidenbach Hall

Residence hall with suite-style rooms built in 1997 and located at 619 Landrum Ln. on the Main Campus. Can hold 58 residents. Use all three words on first mention. Can be shorted to GRB (no periods) in subsequent mentions in the same piece of content. See residence hall.
